Nicole Beran is a Textile Designer specialising in surface and print design, blending a wide combination of visual art, photo-paper collage, ceramics, and traditional screen & digital printing methods.

Her zeal lies within the interior and homewares textile industry and contributing to creative and collaborative working environments.

 

While quick to develop imaginative concepts, storytelling is integral to her practice. With a kinesthetic approach, she strongly emphasises on designing for an emotional connection, channelling deep appreciation for the rich colouring and texture of the outdoors.  

With the ability to reflect and re-use memories of her past, through treasured photography and abstract painting, this gives her work unique depth. Nicole believes textile design is storytelling, and takes on a colour-filled, abstract  approach to the homeware and interiors we connect with.
